This form of quilting is called flat quilting, the purpose of which is to add that extra layer of warmth. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDark grey pure wool felt is used for the underside of the tip. It is lined in beautifully soft blue sandwash silk which is quilted to the cashmere.
